Safari upgrade happened and suddenly the quality of my browsing experience is much better. And… double clicking to open a new tab is now ON in Safari. That was one feature I used to miss.

It seems that the 85W Magsafe Adapter reads output levels of both 18.5V - 4.6A and 16.5V - 3.65A. Since there are NO switches, it automatically detects the power levels for the appropriate laptop.

Here’s a quick mac tip. If you’re from India, the chances of you using a Apple Mac are remote. But there are other aliens who exist in this world. So for those poor guys out there I have a Mac Tip. You might have downloaded a stunning Movie from the Internet via some not so nice methods. Now, the movie is a .MKV file. It plays perfectly well on a VLC Player as the suckers who use mac always use. But you wanna port it to an iPod, DVD or better still … our good old .AVI file. Its been a little over 6 months since I’ve been using the Apple Black Macbook. Observations :

Apple’s New OS is finally in India already 1 month behind the rest of the world and to add insult to injury, Indian Apple Prospective Buyers need to download, fill out a form and send it across to Singapore to get their Apple Leopard Operating System.

Its really a nice piece of work done. What I really like about Flock is that it has a Windows, Mac and Linux Version. Not many new software can boast of that. Since I use all three OSs, its very handy in terms of inter-operability.

Ok, I use the Camino Browser on my Macbook and I have been for the past few months. One fine day, you get a message that says ” this software is outdated and has many security issues”. Why is it that softwares get vulnerability issues only when the vendors have a new version of their software that they want you to download? Pisses me off. I should be able to use a product without altering it till I’m happy to upgrade. Not forcefully made to upgrade, throwing away some precious bandwidth. Its not like I have a 2 MBPS unlimited connection sitting here in India you know.

Come on people, feast your eyes on the one and only iGetz, in India. Today’s date is 22nd July 2007. Anyone copying this idea is a COPYCAT. Hehehe. What better way to flaunt your apple loyalty to the Indian Traffic. I think its cute. What do you think people?

I find myself more and more on Linux these days. And Mac. The windows interface has even become annoying.

Mac is blistering fast and Linux, sigh… I’m in Love with Cassandra. Sigh Sigh.
