I have not been able to blog for the past few days and for once, I am not to be blamed. My system crapped out on me and sent me on a wild goose chase.

Yeah! That pretty much keeps happening to my phone for the past 6 months. Well, for a while I decided to bear with it till it got to a point that it became unbearable. I just had to do something about it. Here’s what I did…

To the occasional phone user, the Apple Iphone might look and sound great, but to the avid texter, gadget lover, data user IPhone is a HUGE pain in the ASS. It is a commonly known fact that Apple hired paid actors to create a HYPE in the UK and the plan fell flat when a local newspaper interviewed one of them standing in a que to buy an Iphone, who had NO IDEA what the godforsaken thing was or why HE was there… Apple just wants to push its failure gadget into a Raw Market andhopes to find a few takers among a few billion, in the process making some huge revenue.

My hunt for a Flat Screen TV has been on for about 2 months now. I was looking at 5 models and I had to make a decision on one as the new year sales had pushed some prices down the ladder. The 5 models I was looking at could be found here.

I walked into a mobile phone retailer today and bought the single and only K850 he had. I test drove the Nokia N95 8GB, and I could see the difference in the two phones almost immediately. My hunch about the Nokia was right. Though the Nokia is packed to the teeth with loads of features, it still is a Nokia. I’m sure that when the phone is loaded with 500 MB of data, the phone would start hanging.

With mobile showrooms springing up at almost every corner of the metro, I thought buying my next phone was gonna be a piece of cake. How wrong I was!

The new Sony Ericsson K850i is one helluva gadget.

Maybe I’ll get it for Diwali. Sigh… there goes my money….

Ordered my first Macbook Pro today. Getting it delivered on Monday. Its no mean feat to find a MBP which is below 1 lakh INR in price as Sreejith would tell you. An interesting twist to the tale is that when I was hunting for the best prices, the apple I was looking to buy was 2.16 GHz, 1024 MB RAM, 120 GB Hard Drive for about 107000 INR which works out to around $2600.

Surface computer Milan™ has been launched by the IT giant Microsoft at the All Things Digital™ conference last Tuesday on 29th May 2007 at California. It was unveiled by the Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.The computer looks cool with a coffee table look and a 30 inch screen. It can respond to more than one finger touch unlike the existing touch screens.
