Gadgetomania
I love gadgets. Wait, I have good reason too. My wife and I tried to get to the bottom of this disorder of mine and I actually came up with a convincing answer. Simple!! I was an intelligent Japanese robot in my previous birth and they retired me from circulation when they found out I was a threat to human existence. Except that my wife refuses to buy it. Now lets have a look at the things I blew my money on:
My Desktop Computer : This one is an absolutely necessity. Right? Except that I have two of these. One runs an AMD 3200+ processor with a 2GB RAM, Windows Vista and normal CRT Monitor. The other runs a Core 2 Duo Windows XP with a 19″ Samsung TFT Monitor with all the works thrown in.
My Black Apple Macbook - Is my pet. Normally, my wife and my macbook compete with one another for my attention and the macbook always wins. Lol.
Windows CE Imate Jasjar - Was a good functional PDA and we’ve had some good times in the months gone by. I even tried making it my main phone, but the weight and size of the device led my commonsense to carry a smaller mobile phone. Now it quietly rests in the shelf save an occasional use, for showing off.
Sony Ericsson P990i - Loved this phone. My Sister has dropped it from a running car a couple of times on gravel. Still works like a charm. Does everything I want it to do. Except washing dishes and cooking me breakfast.
Blackberry 8310i - My latest acquisition. Always keeps me busy and engaged. Addicted is the word actually.
Samsung 42″ PlasmaPS42Q91H - Was an expensive investment. But watching movies or sports on a giant 42″ Plasma has its own pleasure sensations.
Sony 556BK 5.1 DVD Player Home Surround System - This baby takes on the supporting role when I watch movies on the Samsung Plasma. And the result is pure bliss.
In-Car Entertainment
I love listening to music in my car and I wanted some good sound to go. Here’s what I fitted my vehicle with:
A basic model Sony CD Player, with 4 Boston S95 Speakers complete with a Sony Amplifier and a Kenwood 10″ Subwoofer BoomBox.
